The Kodiak futon has a bold and forthright style. This strong frame makes a most definitive statement of all the futons in terms of function and purpose. The massive arms make this futon distinctive. Cylindrical tubes rest heavily on the floor — their curved design supporting the overall frame. Within the hollowed out interior of the arms, three reeds are grouped in the center, the outermost bars purposefully "bending" under the weight of the frame.

The Kodiak is finished in pitch Black, similar to nights on the Alaskan coast. The pure, gleaming surface is smooth, cool and haunting.
